Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang, translated as The Woman Pulled from My Rib in English, is an adaptation of Carlo J. Caparas' celebrated graphic novel. Joyce E. Bernal, with Topel Lee, directs Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera in a story of destiny, secrets and deception.^[1] Scheduled for 80 episodes, the series premiered on February 2, 2009.^[2]

The pilot episode was greatly received by the netizens, critics and audience alike. It achieve a 32.9% rating placing first of all the shows that aired on February 2, its rival show from ABS-CBN, Tayong Dalawa,placed seventh with 27.8%.Although placing first, the series' pilot rating was disappointing compared to previous Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera team-up, but still it was more than enough to beat their rival show that day & the ratings of the show is still picking up on the following days.

Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel is a fantasy Philippine drama that is currently airing on GMA Network. It is an adaptation of a famous graphic novel about a mermaid created by Mars Ravelo.

The series premiered on April 28, 2008 and is expected to air for 28 weeks or 140 episodes, with Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes in the lead roles, and Joyce E. Bernal at the helm.

MariMar was a Philippine drama previously being broadcast in GMA Network, starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera in her first lead role as the protagonist Marimar.^[2]

Though a remake-adaptation of a Mexican telenovela the setting and some of the storylines were altered to avoid the series being too predictable. Directed by award-winning directors Joyce E. Bernal and Mac Alejandre, the series premiered on August 13, 2007. The series ended on March 14, 2008.

Marian Gracia Rivera, more popularly known as Marian Rivera born August 12, 1984 in Madrid, Spain. Rivera was born in Madrid, Spain. Her father is a Spaniard named Francisco Javier Gracia Alonzo and her mother is a Filipina named Amalia Rivera. When her parents separated 2 years after her birth, Rivera and her mom left Spain and flew back to her mother's hometown in the Philippines. She had a 3-month practicum at the National Mental Hospital, after which she graduated with a degree in B.S. Psychology.

Why did you enter showbiz? “Actually, hindi ko inisip kahit kailan na magsho-showbiz ako, kasi alam kong sobrang hirap [dito]. Dumating na lang sa point na dinala lang ako ng kapalaran ko na dito ako dapat.”

What’s your biggest dream? “Sino ba naman ang hindi may gustong sobrang maayos ang buhay, di ba? At siguro napatunayan ko na sa sarili ko na kaya kong tumayo sa sarili kong paa na hindi ako umaasa sa kung ano mang mayroon kami. Syempre lagi kong iniisip na lahat ng bagay, hindi forever. Kaya ako, gusto ko magkabahay ako at magka-business. Para kahit anong mangyari sa akin, may fallback ako.”

Who or what is your inspiration? “Yung mga taong nakapaligid sa akin na sobrang nagtitiwala sa akin at sobrang mahal ako. Na alam kong [masaya] sila kung saan man ako nandito ngayon.”
